Associate Members Welcome

Libraries with an academic or research mission are welcome to join NYSHEI. To join the libraries from accredited institutions of higher education and other Association of Research Libraries (ARL) that comprise the membership of NYSHEI, a prospective “associate” member need only to apply by completing the Membership Renewal form on this page.

Associate members are eligible to enjoy these benefits of NYSHEI membership:

Associate members cannot vote for members of the Governing Board.

NYSHEI dues are based on the library's total budget as reported to the National Center for Educational Statistics. Please select the appropriate category (subject to verification by NYSHEI):

Institution with total library budgets less than $500,000; annual dues $500 Institution with total library budgets of $500,000 to $2 million; annual dues $1,000 Institution with total library budgets over $2 million but less than $10 million; annual dues $2,000 Institution with total library budgets of $10 million and higher; annual dues $4,000
