Please join us for the Sixth Annual Meeting of NYSHEI June 2, 2007, at Syracuse University.

Our annual event has taken an innovative turn. The program is designed to explore the relationship of academic and research libraries to the state economy and gain an understanding of how this relationship is viewed by state policy makers.

With ARIA as the subtext, the event will highlight an address by Karen De Jarnette, Director of Workforce Development, Empire State Development. Nationally respected analysts E.J. McMahon of the Manhattan Institute and Dr. Bruce Kingma of Syracuse University are also on the agenda.

Read the NYSHEI Libraries and the New York State Economy Program.
