David Hochman, Executive Director of the Business Incubator Association of New York State.

Mr. Hochman is the founding executive director of the BIANYS and a consultant in technology-based economic development, serving a broad range of clients in the government and non-profit sectors nationwide.  He is also long-time affiliate of the Technology Partnership Practice at Battelle Memorial Institute, where he has played key roles in landmark studies such as Battelle’s biannual survey of state-level programs for the Biotechnology Industry Organization and a recent study for the Association of University Research Parks.

Jennifer McLennan, Director of Programs and Operations, Scholarly Publishing and Academic Resources Coalition (SPARC).

Ms. McLennan is responsible for SPARC programs from conception to public release.  These programs range from grassroots legislative activism to organization mobilization on a global scale.  Her oversight encompasses: program delivery; member retention and recruitment; leveraging emerging technologies to enhance communication and facilitate program adoption; helping to maintain strong partnerships and alliances; program schedules and budgets; and more.

Terri Standish-Koun, Vice President, Commission on Independent Colleges and Universities.

Dr. Standish-Kuon coordinates federal relations; oversees print and electronic communications, media relations and special events; and supervises the finance and human resources operations for the association. She has two decades of experience as a higher education administrator, researcher, policy analyst, and association executive, during which she has designed and executed communications and grassroots advocacy campaigns recognized by the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) and the American Marketing Association.
